Rights to Revoke and Returns
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of receipt without giving a reason. You have another 14 days after cancellation to return your product. You will then be credited for the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to our warehouse in th Netherlands are are for your own account. These costs depend on the country you shipping from, for the exact rates please consult the website of your carrier.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging. Should the product be damaged or the packaging more damaged than necessary to sell the product, we may pass this depreciation of the product on to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure it is properly packaged when returning it. To exercise this right, please contact us at shop@abouthelmets.com. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of notification of your return provided the product has already been received back in good order.
Return process
How can you return your order to Abouthelmets.com?
At your own expense, via your own parcel service to our warehouse in The Netherlands. You will be fully responsible for ensuring that the package returns to our warehouse. Shipments from outside the EU (especially from the US) can be very expensive and complicated (customs forms) to return to our warehouse. These costs can often amount to quite a lot, going up to around $500.
We can only process the return once the package has arrived at our warehouse.
We stand for the quality of our helmets and spare parts, and we hope that you are happy with your purchase. But, if for any reason you would want to return the product you purchased from Abouthelmets.com, you can return the product(s) to us as follows:
1) Contact us and tell us the reason you want to return your product. You may do so by e-mail: shop@abouthelmets.com This way, we will know that your package is coming our way, and can follow track and trace. Through Whatsapp: +31651421112 is the other option.
2) Complete the return form that we will send you by email, and place it in the package. We can not take proper care of your return, if you do not fill out the return form and include it in the package. The product revoked must be sent back as new in its original packaging, in perfect condition.
3) Let us know the Track and Trace code of your package. This way, we can track your package, and we can process your return more quickly.
4) Once your package reaches our office, we will process the return. Should you like your money back, please write down your bank details on the return form as well.
If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than is necessary to try the product, we can pass on this depreciation of the product to you. So handle the product with care and ensure that it is properly packaged when returned.
We will transfer your money back to you within 14 days after receiving your return. If you would like to exchange a product for a different product we will inform you about the exchange. Shipping costs back to us are always for yourself unless the issue is clearly a production or service error, and we have discussed the return with you and let you know that we will cover the return costs.
