The KEP Nova is the entry-level helmet from the KEP Italia collection - designed for riders who want the quality and feel of KEP while keeping an eye on their budget. Extremely light and comfortable, with a clean design that works across all equestrian disciplines.

Available with a Star Glitter fabric on the grill, a flexible regular or polo visor, and an eco-leather five-point chinstrap that is hypoallergenic and available in beige at no extra charge.

Cromo 2.0 - Matt finish

The KEP Matt is a matte-finish helmet built on the Cromo 2.0 platform - KEP Italia's most advanced shell technology. The polycarbonate in-moulding design makes the shell both lightweight and highly resistant, while the ventilation grill is available in a wide range of colour combinations.

The Cromo 2.0 system means all components - front insert, grill, logo and chinstrap - can be changed after purchase. In 2024, KEP Italia introduced special pre-configured editions with Galassia, Glitter or Star front inserts at special pricing.

The KEP Shine is the glossy counterpart to the Matt - same Cromo 2.0 platform, same customisability, different finish. The high-gloss shell gives the helmet a striking, polished look that stands out in the arena.

Like the Matt, all components can be exchanged after purchase and special pre-configured Galassia, Glitter and Star editions are available at special pricing.

Top range - Cromo 2.0

Textile, Polish, Metal & Diamond

The top of the KEP Italia range. These helmets are built on Cromo 2.0 technology and offer the most extensive level of customisation available from any equestrian helmet brand in the world. All 11 components of the helmet can be individually configured - from frame and grill to logo, chinstrap and nametag.

Every helmet in this range comes with a full leather chinstrap and is delivered in the luxury KEP Italia bag. Already-configured helmets are available in the shop; custom orders can also be placed for configurations not in stock.

KEP Textile

This helmet has an anti fingerprint coating and a matt finish with a slight tiny sparkle added.

KEP Polish

This helmet has a glossy finish with a slight super elegant sparkle added. The polish is more scratch resistant.

KEP Metal

Metal has 2 options. Option 1; a slightly shiny anti-fingerprint coating, just a little bit different from the Textile. Option 2: a Glossy finish with a sparkle added, just a little bit different compared to the Polish and Diamond.

KEP Diamond

This helmet has a glossy finish with a serious sparkle added. Still very elegant and especially for riders who want to shine! The diamond coating is the most scratch resistant.

KEP Cromo 2.0

CROMO 2.0 model is the evolution of the Cromo helmet. CROMO 2.0 gives the rider access to further independent customization options, even after purchase.

An innovative mechanical interlocking system allows the rider to replace both the front and rear inserts and the visor in just few simple steps.

The KEP AiR CONTROL SYSTEM is enhanced with additional ventilation slits at the back to ensure greater breathabilityand better internal temperature control.

CROMO 2.0 is fitted with an integrated microchip, positioned under the front insert, to which you can upload the rider's health details using the KEP App. In case of need, this can help speed up the provision of first aid.

The outer shell is both lightweight and resistant thanks to the polycarbonate in-moulding design.  

The KEP Italia helmets are truly unique. With the extra protection at the back, the five-point closure and the superb ventilation, this is the perfect helmet. In addition, KEP Italia is available in more base colors than any other helmet with the most custom options. Extra special: you can now replace the front and rear insert and visor yourself!

KEP E-Light

The E-LIGHT heImet is the Carbon helmet from the KEP Italia Collection. It is lightweight and strong, with a sophisticated design.

The carbon fibre outer shell is made entirely by hand, using an artisan autoclave processing technique. This makes the helmet lightweight and strong, giving the rider even greater protection.

E-light is one of the safest helmets in the world. The optimal ventilation which flows through special channels in the shell makes this helmet extremely comfortable.

LINERS AND SIZES

The new Coolmax® liner, with improved comfort and breathability, is in soft fabric made from eco-green raw materials.
It can be removed and hand washed or machine washed at 30°.

The liners come in different sizes, which makes fitting the helmet to the rider's head much easier.
KEP Italia helmets are available in two sizes for the shell:
– shell M (from 51 to 58 cm) and L (from 59 to 62 cm).

KEP Safety first

To ensure the best safety possible, the helmets are frequently tested in multiple ways:

- Shock absorption test: Checking the helmet's resistance if it suffers blows such as those caused by a fall or by the kick of a horse.
- Penetration test: Checking that the cap inside the helmet is able to protect the head in case of blows from sharp objects.
- Strap resistance test: Checking that the strap is strong enough not to break or detach from the helmet in the event of a fall.
- Shift test: Checking that the helmet does not fly off during a fall and before impact with the ground.
- Crush test: Checking the helmet's resilience in the event of lateral compression (crushing).
